	Our kitchen blocks are traditionally made from seasoned and kiln dried timber and can be supplied in practically any size, our ‘standard’ being a single unit 600mm x 600mm and nominally 900mm high. Prices start from £265. The stands can incorporate various options such as wine racks, shelves, drawers, baskets and cupboards and can be supplied with locking swivel castors .



		Examples of larger blocks, often utilised as island workstations.


	The selections shown on this page give an indication of the many different styles and finishes available.



					Tops can be produced either from a single solid piece of timber, such as the example to the left, or using end grain blocks to produce the traditional style that allows for the rotation of the blocks following excessive wear of the work surface.



		The block shown on the right has an ‘aged’ top. The uneven top simulates the wear that would be expected after many months intensive use in the butchers shop and can be said to enhance the character.



									The attractive end grain blocks option can be seen well on the example shown on the left. The blocks are oiled after manufacture to give a durable, low maintenance working surface.. .


	Blocks are also available in sustainable hardwoods such as the large beech example shown here with baskets underneath.


		This photograph shows a smaller block incorporating a drawer and cupboard.

	Obviously with solutions designed to suit your own particular needs and such a wide range of options it wouldn’t be possible to show prices. However, as an indication, a 600mm square block with a drawer and a single slatted shelf starts at £265 with a waxed finish.
